It is very important for businesses to have a spill control plan because sudden chemical spills and associated odors can quickly become a major hazard. The Smelleze® Universal Spill & Odor Absorbent Granules and Powder was specially developed to absorb a wide variety of inorganic and organic spills and odors and encapsulate them for safe disposal. This includes oil, gasoline, diesel, gear oil, antifreeze, paint thinners, varsol, methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB's), alcohol, acetic acid, formaldehyde, methanol, ozone, ammonia, heavy metals, radioactive isotopes, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, freon, hydrogen sulfide, VOC's and many more.

Furthermore, Smelleze® will reduce the explosive nature of spills and odors it absorbs. It is non-flammable and will act as a fire retardant if applied to a flammable liquid and will reduce the temperature of the blaze making it easier to extinguish. Smelleze® will also reduce the aggressiveness of acids and aid the solidification of hazardous chemicals and sludge to render it non hazardous so it can be land filled if desired.

The structure of Smelleze® provides high absorption without losing its structural integrity. It has the strength to withstand traffic without disintegrating into a slippery mush as is the case with many other brands. It reduces tracking and spreading across the shop floor.
